AT&T HTC Desire Android phone coming soon
The AT&T HTC Desire cell phone will be available in Q2 2010. AT&T really needs a high end android phone. I’m glad I’ve got good AT&T coverage in my area… If I was an AT&T customer, I would be so excited about new Android phones coming soon. If only AT&T gets the Desire, I am officially done with Android.

The AT&T HTC Desire will give AT&T users HTC’s Sense UI, also features a 3.7-inches AMOLED touch screen WVGA display, a 5.0 megapixel with LED flash, 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 576MB RAM and 512MB ROM, HTC Sense UI, FM radio, WiFi, A-GPS, MP3 player and runs Google Android 2.0 or 2.1 OS. HTC desire to AT&T? that really caught me by surprise! I am hoping this comes to fruition!

I have been waiting for an Android phone for AT&T. I’ve been a customer for 5 years and really don’t have complaints. However, I’m intrigued by the Android hype and want one. My contract is up soon and if they are getting the Desire, then I’m a loyal customer. If not, I’m switching to Verizon. Not really interested in the iPhone. I’m going to wait until June and see what happens.

my contract was up at the beginning of jan, but im holding out for this phone… really dont want an iphone, everyone has one.

Been waiting for this phone for a long time, since December. Everyone does have an I-Phone and i never caught on that I-Phone hype. I know plenty of people with them, half of them live in Africa. I’m the person who wants something everyone doesn’t have, being one of the first to have it. Any info on release date please let us know.

Why does it not have 8 megapixel camera like the Verizone Incredible?

Ron, the Incredible doesn’t have some of the features that the Desire does (i’m fuzzy on the details but you can look it up) but if a camera is so important get a real one.
Other than that HOLY CRAP THIS IS AWESOME. My past two phones haven’t been that great, but i’m really looking forward to this phone. My contract ends next January but i can wait for 7 months while all of the bugs have been worked out.

I am another person who will be waiting until June to see what happens. I don’t really care for an iphone either but it seems the best way to go on At&t at the moment being that the backflip is on lock down and no one wants it. If they release this phone in June, then
I’m definitely a future buyer. Otherwise I may have to go with Randy and swith to Verizon. AT&T must step up their android game!! Other providers are kicking their ass in that area!!

This looks like a pretty cool phone. Looks a lot like the android phone my bf has with verizon. I’m up for an upgrade now but I’m holding out just cause I can’t afford an upgrade at the moment… speaking of the wallet… how much is one of these gonna run?

i really want this phone. i hate that ATT does not have any good android phones with snap dragon processors. i cannot wait till this phone comes out. i am waiting lets go.

I am SO excited about this possibility. I was almost ready to buy an I-phone 4, when I saw how defective it was and I was. I didn’t want an I-phone to begin with, I wanted an Incredible. Now I can stay with AT&T and get the phone I really want!

It nwver even came out in 2010. Whats up with that. Reviews online arent specific enoigh. Is this phone coming out in 2011?
