AT&T Motorola Backflip – New AT&T Android cell phones
The AT&T Motorola Backflip cell phone is good to see that AT&T is finally getting some Android phones. I like Android. I have been rethinking my hate for this little thing. The Motorola Backflip will be available March 7 for $99.99 after $100 mail-in rebate. The price is awesome, not everyone needs a snapdragon processor.

The AT&T Motorola Backflip Android phone has a unique form factor, also features 3.1-inch high-res touch screen display, 5MP autofocus camera with LED flash, full QWERTY keyboard, GPS, Wi-Fi, 3.5mm headset jack, MotoBlur with social networking integration (Facebook, MySpace, Twitter), HSDPA connectivity and running Google Android OS. The Motorola site lists the U.S. Backflip as “1.5 (upgradeable to 2.1).” AT&T hasn’t said what version will be on it, but that is what we have to go by. I waited and waited for AT&T to offer a decent Android phone…

I don’t think I like the idea of the keyboard being on the outside like that. It seems like the keys would become ruined very easily, and buttons would be pressed on accident. I like to stick my phone in my back pocket so I’d prefer not to butt dial!
