The NEC Terrain android phone was obviously repurposed by AT&T. With a screen that small they should have just left capacitive keys instead of the huge bottom bezel with logo. Reminds me of Motorola Atrix HD.
AT&T NEC Terrain key features:
- physical QWERTY keyboard
- little ruggedized (MIL-810G)
- 8-megapixel rear and 0.3-megapixel cameras
- “high-resolution” 3.1-inch display
- 1.5GHz, dual-core Snapdragon S4 CPU
- 8GB of built-in storage
- up to 32GB via microSD
- Push-to-Talk services
- Android ICS OS
If you’re going to stick an ugly blackberry keyboard on an android phone which makes the screen tiny to begin with, why would you use soft keys which then take up even more space instead of put them on the keyboard?
The AT&T NEC Terrain will go on sale on June 21st for $99 on contract.
