The AT&T Nexus One cell phone is now on sale for $529 on Google website, AT&T get a great android phone. Now AT&T customers won’t have to settle for that pathetically neutered Motorola Backflip and can get a real Android device. The AT&T Nexus One phone isn’t cheaper but, you also are not bound by a contract for 2 years when you buy an unlocked device. And if you wanna trade up later, an unlocked device is very easy to sell.

With the Nexus One, there will be no such charges (google GPS service is free). If you use the GPS, that’s a $240 savings over a 2 year contract. This handset supports three 3G/UMTS bands (850/1900/2100 MHz) and four GSM radio frequencies (850/900/1800/1900 MHz). AT&T 3G is faster than Tmobile and Verizon so it should do a lot better.

The AT&T Nexus One cell phone features include a 3.7-inch AMOLED display, 5 megapixel camera with LED flash, Android 2.1, A-GPS, Wi-Fi, 3.5mm headset jack, Stereo Bluetooth 2.1, FM and with 1400 mAh battery.
