The new HTC Explorer entry-level Android phone doesn’t look that bad, but at that thickness and with that hardware, the goal for the these Smaller screen with fewer pixels to push, lower clock speed, and a fat ass battery (and vanilla AOSP) should give "budget" customers the perk of battery life. 600 MHz really isn’t that bad.  Just because it isn’t over 1 GHz doesn’t mean it’s a bad device. This phone needs to cost $99 off contract max.
