HTC Omega Windows Phone 7 cell phone photos
A white Windows Phone 7 device was much awaited. The new HTC Omega cell phone looks great and specs are good too. I kinda like the white but that is because I have the HTC Arrive which is mostly black. Not every phone needs to be a high end dual core 4.3 inch monster. 1.5GHz was unthinkable a year ago, its more than enough to play games, check Phone aren’t like PC’s where specs get outdated much faster.

The HTC Omega cell phone will have a 3.8 inch WVGA display, a Snapdragon MSM8255 1.5Ghz processor, 512MB of RAM, an 8 megapixel camera and front-facing camera. You’ve obviously never used a WP7 if you think the hardware is not good enough, it’s not clunky Android we’re talking about here, WP7 doesn’t need dual core to make it just about usable.

A Snapdragon MSM8255 is a 1Ghz processor. The Snapdragon processors that are 1.5Ghz are from the S3 Dual Core series of processors.
