Huawei Ascend II Android phone for Cricket
The new Huawei Ascend II cell phone looks cool, love the price and off contract but specs would piss me off with lagging! In Europe it’s sold as the Sonic, it’s “real” name is the Huawei U8650. It’s the same phone but with a worse camera, 3.2 MP rather than 5. I have had it for a few days and I can say the browser works fine, Spotify works fine, whatsapp works fine – you can keep music on the background and do other stuff and it won’t lag.

About Cricket:
- Yes, their plan is unlimited-EVERYTHING for $55. Unlimited voice, text, data, whatever.
- They are month-to-month (no contract) so if you dont like them, you only have to pay for one month.
They are a budget carrier. If you can live with their limitations, their unlimited package is actually very good.
The Cricket Huawei Ascend II cell phone features include a 3.5-inch 320×480 HVGA touch-screen display, 600MHz processor, 5-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi capability, 3G, microSD card support, a 1400mAh battery, and Android 2.3 Gingerbread. the Huawei Ascend II is offered for a suggested MSRP of $179.99 in Cricket branded retail stores.
