LG Chocolate Touch for Verizon
The Verizon LG Chocolate Touch is a cheap dumbphone, the LG Chocolate Touch cell phone has a resistive touch, it without the data plan. Not everyone needs a smart phone esp with the more expensive data plan. A good “dumbphone” will last days without needing a recharge, can tolerant frequent drops and rough treatment, can comfortably fit in pants pockets, and doesn’t require a premium service plan.

NOTE, as of March or April 2010, Verizon has a $10 per month data plan, limited to 25MB ($1.50 or $2 per MB over 25MB, not too bad), and an unlimited MB $30/month data plan. Both work with the LG Chocolate Verizon sells. So, now you can get a cheap dumbphone with a decent sized screen, nice music player/media player, AND it has a cheap data plan and can hit the internet like its smarter brethren. Verizon set up my daughter with her Gmail email account (accessed via the internet and consuming a few Kbytes per month to get email), and she is lovin it.
