LG Optimus 2X – New LG cell phones
The LG Optimus 2X cell phone looks sweet!, To bad it debuts with Android 2.2 and not 2.3 Gingerbread. Dual core is supposed to be better vs. single core. Tegra 2 Processor is suppose to have low power consumption for long battery life. Samsung, HTC and Motorola will probably follow soon with their dual core versions, however the most important thing here is the OS, is Gingerbread dual core optimized? Gingerbread, Honeycomb, and Dual Cores will make 2011 a wonderful year of Android.

The LG Optimus 2X will have a 4-inch WVGA screen, 1Ghz Dual-core Processor, 8 megapixel rear camera and 1.3 megapixel front camera, HDMI mirroring, 1080p MPEG-4/H.264 playback and recording, 8GB memory up to 32GB via microSD and Google Android 2.2 OS. The Optimus 2X is the best phone out there hardware wise but i have a feeling the battery life will suck with dual core and 1080p. I hope it comes to Sprint and T-Mobile.
