The new LG Optimus L9 is the most impressive looking phone I have seen from LG in a long time. Very elegant. It looks like a Samsung Galaxy S2 but I don’t really care. Its nice knowing that we have this as an option.
A customizable keyboard sounds interesting but I doubt it’s ability to catch on as a big selling point, if people liked the idea I’m sure there would be popular third party implementations out long ago.
The LG Optimus L9 will have a 4.7-inch IPS display, 1GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, 4GB internal storage, 5-megapixel rear-facing camera, 9.1mm thin, 2,150 mAh battery, and Android 4.0 ICS.
It looks as if LG used some characteristics from other devices that made them great devices, executed them well, while putting their own taste to it. A very sexy looking phone. The face of the phone is a re-imagined GS2 while the sides and back take elements from the Zune HD. I do have have to say I really do like the overall look of the phone. If they incorporated the design of this phone into the ‘superphone’ I would tell them to shut up and take my money.
BTW, Why do manufacturers continue to ignore the core fundamentals of Android 4+? Software buttons are the way to go. I love the flexibility they offer on my Galaxy Nexus.
