New Cell Phones

The MetroPCS LG Optimus M is the best mid-range Android handset, MetroPCS can charge 50 bucks a month for unlimited everything, if the phone doesn’t have LTE and thus data speeds on MetroPCS will be slow. Is that "3G" icon accurate? I thought MetroPCS is just 2G and 4G at this point.
