Motorola Droid 2 release date August 23rd for Verizon
The new Verizon Motorola Droid 2 cell phone is a minor spec boost, Upgraded from 256MB of RAM to 512MB of RAM. Increased internal storage to 8GB + whatever you get from your SD card. Upgraded the processor from an OMAP3430 to an OMAP3640. The keyboard layout is also improved beyond the dpad. I hope that new keyboard is an improvement. I like the Droid 2 much better than the Droid x. Because not everyone prefers an all touch phone like myself.
Verizon will sell the Motorola Droid 2 on August 23rd for $199 with a new 2-yr agreement. Now, Motorola is working hard to get Android 2.2 finalized.
