If you root your phone and use an overclocking tool found in the MarketPlace, one can easily overclock their phone to 800MHz+ at the cost of battery life. There have been some accounts that 1.3GHz has been achieved on the Droid, and even some projects trying to run it at 1.5GHz, but these are for extreme users only and is not recommended because you can do some serious damage if the CPU overheats.</description>
