The Motorola i1 cell phone will be a nice upgrade on Sprint Nextels line up. The i1 is a iDEN phone with WiFi, Motorola owns the iDEN technology. They created a proprietary tech and network and hold all PTT users hostage. Still waiting to see a Sprint Motorola Android device, but this looks like a good phone for the Nextel/Boost customers.

The Motorola i1 (Motorola Opus One) looks pretty cheap. The i1 cell phone features include a 3.1-inch hVGA 320×480 capacitive touchscreen display, 3 megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, WiFi, iDEN PTT & PTX, iDEN GPS engine, A-GPS, MOTONAV navigation app, Bluetooth, 512MB Flash / 256MB of RAM, 2.5mm headset jack, microSD card slot and it runs MOTOBLUR Goole Android OS. I cant believe that iDEN is STILL around. But the iDEN network may be ancient by all means but it is probably the most reliable network out there. When is the last time you heard an iDEN network outage?
