New AT&T iPhone 3GS Cell Phone
The new AT&T iPhone 3GS has 2x the CPU speed and RAM. It appears to use the same type of screen as the iPhone 3G, not OLED, no tethering.
AT&T will offer iPhone 3GS and iPhone 3G at a variety of attractive prices:
- - AT&T iPhone 3GS will cost $199 (16GB) and $299 (32GB) for new and qualifying customers.
- - AT&T iPhone 3G 8GB will cost $99 for new and qualifying customers.
- - AT&T iPhone 3G 16 GB will be available for $149 while supplies last.

It’s a shame that we can’t upgrade our network from AT&T to someone else. On of the things that became very apparent is that AT&T is holding the iPhone back. “S” is for speed but what difference that can make in speed that is still question :) I hope 3Gs the same OSwhich will support VoIP APPs and does work with Truphone, Vopium or any other VoIP application!!
