New Nokia N5 Symbian Anna cell phone

The new Nokia N5 cell phone with Symbian Anna runs on Java. I’m so confused. Why are they releasing phones running with the OS that they are going to phase out soon? The N5 features include a 3.2-inch Touch Screen, a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash, a front-facing camera, 3G supports and Symbian Anna OS.
