The new Acer Allegro looks like optimus 7, it’s really nice on WP7 that no matter what you are going to get a great OS, because it allows the user to choose a hardware variant that is right for them. Without worrying about Sense or Blur, etc. WP7 is still in the startup phase. Even with 7.5 released, I don’t think (note: think) WP7 will be quite ready to battle it off with the big guys until 3-4th quarter of 2012.
The Acer Allegro Windows phone features include a 3.6-inch WVGA (800 x 480) display, 1GHz single-core Qualcomm MSM8255 CPU, 8GB internal storage, a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash and a 1,300mAh battery.

The new Acer W4 Windows Phone 7 Mango is mid-range handset, hopefully for pre-paid carriers. We need a flagship WP7 phone – something with a big screen, 4G connectivity for when Mango is released, support for a large capacity micro sd storage card, a larger battery…The same holds true even with the Mango multitasking update. Windows Phone is much faster and much more optimized than Android on equivalent hardware. Considering the Optimus 7 is the best Windows Phone, that’s not saying much.

The new AT&T Acer Iconia cell phone is impressive. Has phone and tablet features which is nice. Probably would be great for work and play. The superwide screen will look great when browsing the web in landscape mode. This is a better resolution for browsing the internet, as having an edge with 1024 pixels will be great for rendering webpages. I like the screen and the Acer UI on top of Android 2.3. It actually looks thinner and smaller than the Samsung 4.5 inch phone or the Dell Streak.

The Acer beTouch E210 low power phone will be launched with Android 2.1 froyo, it E210 has a 2.6-inch touch screen, a full QWERTY keypad. At a glance, this looks looks like the Samsung Captivate, with a larger bezel. this is alright. Hopefully the price it around $50.

The new Acer Android phone with 4.8-inch display, doesn’t look too big, seems about the same size of a PSP, possibly smaller. 1024 x 480 pixels (21:9 aspect ratio), LG BL40 was also this ratio, and it was too tall too thin. Definitely a slick looking phone. If it comes with Gingerbread, that’s a well-hung phone. April 2011? The specs on this are fairly good by today’s standards but in 5 months I won’t even give it a second glance.
This phone features a 4.8-inch 1024 x 480-pixel touchscreen display, an 8MP camera with LED flash, front-facing 2MP camera for video calling, a 1GHz processor, DLNA, Dolby sound, GPS, WiFi and HDMI output.
