Acer Liquid Metal is a mid-range Android smartphone that runs Android 2.2 Froyo. It will offer 2 color versions for users to choose, brown and silver. While the brown version will be on sale in the UK in the middle of this month for ￡299 ($476). Users who prefer silver ones have to wait another month.
The Liquid Metal has a stainless steel battery cover and chrome trims which live up to its name. It doesn’t feel like a brick in your pocket as it only weighs 4.75 ounces (135 grams). The smartphone sports a 3.6-inch capacitive touchscreen, a 5MP camera with auto-focus and LED flash, an 800MHz Qualcomm processor and a new user interface that helps users manage applications easier.
In a word, Acer Liquid Metal looks modern and feels light in hand. Now that we have the release date of the handset, are any of you planning on picking up it?

The Acer Liquid Metal cell phone have a plastic look to it though, I’d love to have a smaller-sized Android device without a keyboard. Something sleek and very pocketable. I hope they don’t make a custom skin. I want stock froyo on it!
The Acer Liquid Metal cell phone will have a 3.6-inch display with 800 x 480, a 800MHz processor, a 3.5mm audio jack, Android 2.2 OS and a lovely aluminum exterior. Nice phone, that was my first impression as well.

The Acer Stream is a beautiful Android phone, I like the UI they have on that device and the snapdragon is a good CPU. The Acer Stream cell phone will have Android 2.1 OS, I think this is a really good phone alternative for me which want to have a device that is hackable. I would like to install apps in this phone which I can download from the Internet, and don’t want to use a store like the Apple or Microsoft.
The Acer Stream cell phone features include a 3.7-inch AMOLED display, the 1 GHz Snapdragon processor, a 5-megapixel camera with 720p video recording, no flash, HDMI out port, WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, UPnP and DLNA compliance, Android 2.1 OS, 512MB of RAM and 2GB of flash storage along with a microSD card slot.

The new Acer Liquid E Ferrari Special Edition is one red phone. Pretty nice back, a glossy red casing, I think they’d at least get 1GHz going and Android 2.2!
