T-Mobile may have the fastest iPhone 5 out there, depending on which HSPA+ modem apple put’s in the phone. That’d be awesome news. If it were on all 4 carriers, the only thing on my mind would be who has the best price. T-Mobile will be here for a while, the life time of the iPhone 5 is possible.

The new Sprint iPhone 5 will launch in October, The iPhone on sprint is definitely good news to them, that’s because Verizon and ATT had very similar pricing at the time. Sprint’s plans are very different and with truly unlimited data. Yeah, especially since the iPhone 4 and 3GS are the top selling smartphones in the US. Only problem is Sprint also has the slowest network. Remember the articles showing that Sprint 3G is slower than ATT edge, lol. Heck I wonder if T-Mobiles throttle is faster then Sprint 3G. Maybe Sprint iPhone will supports Wimax 4G.

The new HTC Pico Android phone looks a bit better than the Wildfire S. Typically, lower-end Android phones don’t even get Froyo, much less Gingerbread. Having 2.3 would mean some speed increases over the same hardware running 2.1 and having the newer firmware would allow Google Music (for example) to be run. It’d be great for a gym phone, or for something else that doesn’t matter terribly if it’s lost or stolen.

The new iPhone will retail for no more than $350. This $350 price point is for markets in Asia, etc. where prepaid is very important, and a $699 phone is too expensive. I’ll bet the new iPhone 4S will be the contender in the mid-range, while the iPhone 5 will be the mainstay for the carriers at the high-end. Hope it has a front facing camera and A4. They iPhone 5 or 4S should have a bigger screen. Very interesting, only time Will tell…

Hopefully iPhone 5 has LTE support, looks like we will be getting iPad 3 this year after all. I will sell my iPad 2 32GB Wifi for a LTE iPad 2 Redux if Verizon has LTE here by then. If your iPad continues to do what it was made to do, what’s the problem? So you could have held out for an iPad 3. Just wait until the iPad 4 or 5 to upgrade then. Apple’s iPhone 5 and iPad 3 “are likely” to become available in October this year.
