Nothing groundbreaking but a nice move to spur interest in the BlackBerry Passport. An iPhone 6 isn’t worth selling for $600 — But it’s funny how the linear trade in value becomes worth it with iPhone 5, and 4S respectively. It’s as if to say that your phone devalues exponentially in time.
The White BlackBerry Passport will be available on December 8th, 2014. for ￡485 (inc. VAT) in the U.K. White is a good colour but becomes dirty sooner and may show signs of heavy usage even with good care!
The Red BlackBerry Passport isn’t a color I particularly like, but the passport in red looks really nice. This phone truly is designed for business use. And with the addition of the Amazon App store, it’ll have the best of both worlds.
Hopefully I can be First to pick up that device! If the BlackBerry Classic had a faster processor and higher resolution /ppi. It would be the perfect phone. Still awesome though. I kinda wish they would have implemented the same type of keyboards touch functions like they have on the passport. For scrolling and flicking in words.
The red BlackBerry Passport is one sexy looking device! I like the black one much better than I thought I would, although a white hard shell case is coming. One more red one for somebody else! The Black Passport has been selling for $599 since launch.
“The red version of the BlackBerry Passport will be available in limited quantities in time for Black Friday.”
Article wasn’t clear on whether it’ll be online or in stores in the US?
