AT&T Dell Venue – New AT&T / T-Mobile cell phones

Last modified on February 5th, 2011, Posted on February 5th, 2011

The AT&T Dell Venue is a Android phone, unlocked phone + unlocked phone plan. It’s available in either AT&T 3G supporting version ow AWS 3G version. The Venue has two variants: both AT&T and T-Mobile’s 3G networks. They offer an unlocked phone, but can’t give us one with quadband? Considering feature phones are still being sold, is a pretty good indication that 3G phone will be around for a while.

The unlocked Dell Venue cell phone will be available on AT&T or T-Mobile for $499.99 beginning on February 18th, 2011. I have been drooling over this phone for past 3 months and am still waiting.  I am sure that this will be a great phone to have but my only concern is the service availability.

Dell Venue cell phone will coming to AT&T

Last modified on January 7th, 2011, Posted on January 7th, 2011

The new Dell Venue cell phone looks amazing and has good hardware to go with it. Cool, this one looks boxy by comparison. Looks great except for the AMOLED display. It’s totally worth the wait, all versions of Android are great. Didn’t think you could have an Android phone with three buttons on the front of it. What’s Dell’s beef with the dedicated search button?

The new Dell Venue cell phone is now on sale for about US$500 (HK$3,999) in Hong Kong, I like the phone just the way it is. I wish it didn’t have a keyboard (only 12.9 mm thick), the Dell Venue has a 4.1-inch AMOLED 4.1-inch AMOLED, 8.0 megapixel auto focus camera with LED, Google Android 2.2 OS.

Dell Venue Pro cell phone for AT&T

Posted on December 17th, 2010

The Dell Venue Pro cell phone supports WCDMA 850/1900, AT&T 3G networks. It’s a Windows Phone 7 Phone. Hence no CDMA support. Let’s hope it actually becomes official, even if a month from now.  I think that it would be hilarious if this thing hit AT&T before T-Mobile got their variant.

The AT&T Dell Venue Pro will have a 4.1-inch WVGA AMOLED multi-touch display, 5MP auto-focus camera, 1GHz Snapdragon chip, physical QWERTY keyboard, 3G, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Windows Phone 7 operating system. The screen is very clear and bright and the hardware is very responsive.
