New Samsung Galaxy S III with 2GB RAM/32GB ROM

Posted on May 17th, 2012

So far we don’t really know about the US versions of the S3. Maybe that Japan is the only one getting 2GB of RAM. That was one thing many people were looking forward to with the SGS3. 2GB RAM is absolutely necessary. Increasing RAM is the fastest way to speed up the whole OS. Even though program may not use all of it, it reduces fragmentation in memory which is the primary reason your phone slows down after using it for certain period.

LG Optimus LTE II – New LG cell phones

Posted on May 17th, 2012

Thank you LG finally someone that brings us a phone with 2GB ram. I guarantee all flagship phones next year will have 2GB of ram minimum. Except with this phone you won’t have to wait until next year

I’m pretty sure that a lot of people here were expecting the SGS3 and any other flagship phone to come with a battery as good or better then the one in the D-Razr Maxx…and the 2GB of ram if it improves the device performance thats a plus…..

Samsung Galaxy S III 16GB pre-order Price $779 (UNLOCKED)

Posted on May 17th, 2012

The Unlocked Samsung Galaxy S III is now available for pre-order price $779.99 on Amazon. Price of importing a unit from overseas is almost always higher than stateside pricing. $780 is outrageous for an unlocked phone. I can wait to see what version of the SIII carriers will offer in the near future. I like the Galaxy S III, but I won’t be throwing that kind of money around for it.

T-Mobile UK Samsung Galaxy S III Pebble Blue 16GB pre-order Now (Order now for delivery after 30 May). Hopefully T-Mobile US does what it always has and changes the design of the phone.

Virgin Mobile LG Optimus Elite on sale for $149.99

Posted on May 16th, 2012

The name Elite could’ve been give to a higher end design. It has a 3.5 inch screen compared to the V’s 3.2, 800mhz processor instead of the slower 600mhz, 5 megapixel camera up from the 3 megapixel, 1 gig of user memory instead of the 162 mb which to me is the biggest improvement.

In any event, I’m just glad Virgin Mobile is finally upgrading its phones. They were really starting to fall behind the competition — even the no-contract competition.

LG Optimus Elite features include a 3.5-inch HVGA display, 800MHz CPU, 5-MP rear camera, 512MB RAM, NFC and Google Wallet for mobile, Bluetooth, 3G, NFC (with Google Wallet), 4GB ROM and Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

HTC Ville C – New HTC Android phones

Posted on May 16th, 2012

Probably a future version of it. I’m looking forward to seeing the design. Certainly not a bad phone. Sense 4.5. And S3 at 1.7 GHz with 1GB RAM is certainly no slouch.

Specs-wise there wouldn’t be much difference between it and the Sensation if they clocked it at 1.2ghz, only the RAM and bsi sensor and image chip. Specs wise the amaze would be better. And if there’s no expandable memory the Sensation would have potentially more. I think this one will have expandable memory and removable battery.

HTC Ville C key features:
– 1.7GHz dual-core Snapdragon MSM8260
– 4.3-inch qHD (540×960) AMOLED display
– 8.0-megapixel main camera
– 1GB of RAM
– 16GB of internal storage
– 1,650 mAh battery
– Android 4.0 with Sense 4.5
