It’s funny Verizon and AT&T are the only carriers to pretty mch offer every OS choice? So far, Sprint has said "no" to 2 generations of webOS hardware — the Pre Plus and Pre 2. Sprint plans aren’t much cheaper than Verizon now, and in rural midwest, my Verizon Pre2 has way better reception. So, for me, Sprint became… Irrelevant. I want a new device and WebOS is great.

The whole range looks fantastic. this device will be a great addition to the range! The Pre 3 looks cool. Very excited to see what it’s like. We been waiting for a keyboard less WebOS phone for 3 years now. Just bring it to us.

If anyone is still interested in this phone, they should at least wait for the HP Pre 3. At least that phone has visible improvement.

WebOS is bar none the best mobile OS by a lightyear. The $99 price point allows Palm to slot a super phone above at $199 and the teen phone below at $49. This phone is supposed to be a mid tier phone and at that I level, I think it’s pretty competitive. I have Android, but WebOS seems great and the specs of this phone are not in any way bad. This phone has been released for quite a while unlocked for GSM.

The Verizon Palm Pre 2 cell phone has a 3.1 inches 320×480 HVGA display, Slide-out physical QWERTY keyboard, 5-megapixel camera with LED flash, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, a 1 GHz processor, 512 MB of RAM, WebOS 2.0. A girl I know has that phone, she loves it.

I really like webOS, but it needs to come out on some better hardware.  The GSM unlocked Palm Pre 2 on sale for $450. The price is very reasonable. From what I read elsewhere it appears to be a dual band 3G 850/1900 phone for use with AT&T. You could get a pre-pay SIM, then no, you wouldn’t need a contract, and you’d be free to hop around networks and phones.

Its a beautiful device, but all they did was upgrade the processor. So they basically have a brand new same phone, I agree the hardware blows, the OS is amazing. There will probably be more webOS phones out in 2011. The apps load immediately. The battery life appears to me somewhat normal now. The keyboard looks the same but is somehow 10x easier to use. Zing is the perfect word for multi-tasking. It is one of the fastest phones I have used.
