The New Sprint Samsung Galaxy Nexus is the first 4G LTE phone. Glad to see this! Sprint needs some loving and this plus their new LTE network may very well be what they seriously need. Let’s hope their LTE network gets decent speeds, unlike their 3G network! Sprint has great coverage. CDMA kinda sucks, but this is an LTE phone, so it makes up for that.

Sprint Samsung Galaxy Nexus key features:
– 4.65-inch 1280×800 Super AMOLED HD display
– 5-megapixel camera with 1080p HD video capture and LED flash; 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera
– 1.5GHz dual-core processor
– 1GB RAM
– 32GB of built-in storage
– 1850 mAh battery
– 4G LTE
Their isn’t an LTE network ready yet on Sprint, so telling you a release date which will likely release in June when they flip on LTE is kinda anti climatic! Just saying.

The new Sprint LG Viper is a decent eco-friendly mid-range phone, it looks nothing like a Nexus, with the exception of it being rectangular, having rounded corners, and the typical Android capacitive buttons adorning its chin. If anything, it looks like a refreshed, but not-as-good-looking Optimus / G2x.

With the rumor of the Samung Galaxy Nexus and the rumor of the Samsung Galaxy Note coming to Sprint, I’m encouraged! Sprint lit up LTE in 4 cities today! And I have inside info that there are at least 5 more in a test market as we speak.
The Galaxy S2 may have a little better camera but i’ll rather have faster dual core processor and the main thing: LTE 4g everywhere rather than the narrow wimax. The LTE 4 G is the main point. It should match the regular current 3 g coverage. Hopefully the Galaxy Nexus will arrive at Sprint just in time for me to be coming off contract!

Nice mini tablet phone, I’m definitely interested, the 4.5 Galaxy S II dwarves my 4S on screen size, the Samsung Galaxy Note is on Sprint. Regardless if it has WiMAX, EVDO-Only, or LTE, it wont work as fast as any other carrier in the world.
As for this phone: looks cool, like the concept, my question would be battery life. I would wait until others had the phone and commented on the battery performance.

It’s nice to see more white handsets coming to market. I had returned my black Epic 4g in lieu for the white version coming out some time soon. Now knowing that the phone will be available on Jan. 8th is a relief since I loved the phone. The Sprint Epic 4G Touch was well designed, displayed is excellent, call quality was excellent, battery life is perfect, weight of the phone not heavy, customization is easy, love the phone ! Takes awesome photos, love the sounds and the ability to change fonts to be creative.
