I had the pleasure of seeing it in person and it is a beautiful phone. This phone is better than the One X. As I understand it, the Evo 4G LTE is made of an aluminum alloy unibody, whereas the One X is a poly-carbonate unibody.
This is not news. This page has been live since the announcement. It’s just an email reminder to remind you that you can pre-order on 5/7. The article makes it sound like you can pre-order now.

Played with the Galaxy Nexus today at Sprint. It’s a sweet device, even if it’s already 6 months old. This is by far the most exciting phone, ICS is Great, the design is awesome, the phone feel is solid, I cant keep my hands off this phone! If the battery lasted longer it would be perfect!
I really think Samsung/Google should have upgraded this thing with maybe a better camera/processor to compensate for the wait. All around i recommend this phone to Everyone! The Sprint Google Galaxy Nexus On Sale for $199.99 with a new two-year contract.

I hope this is true! I can’t wait until I can get my hands on this phone! Sprint customers are on a 22-month upgrade schedule, so anyone who bought the EVO 4G at launch is already eligible for their upgrade.
Anyone else think it makes absolutely NO sense to release an LTE phone when there is no LTE to speak of when Sprint is concerned??
Sprint HTC EVO 4G LTE is the true successor to the EVO 4G and will have good support of the next couple of years.

The new LG Optimus Elite Android phone is replacing the Optimus S. Reading the specs on Sprint it seems to be a very nice phone for that price. As an app developer, I own several Android devices. I expect more, Sprint and LG.

Although its a great phone I think sprint is a little late on this one. I am very happy that Sprint is keeping LTE phones at $199.99 unlike Verizon and AT&T which continue to rip customers off with $249 and $299 LTE phones. Good to show that Sprint is still for the consumer.
Well at least they offer you a mind blowing plan with unlimited internet on your phone, so that feature alone is enough to keep me with them. I wanted this phone but no, it’s okay. And if this comes April 22 I’m assuming May is when they open LTE networks or have they already?
