Samsung Galaxy Note 4 available in the US on October 17

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will sell well. All of the Note 2 users seem to want to upgrade to the Note 4. Personally, I want a closer to stock experience and do not care for all the Touchwiz addons, even for the s-pen. And the few things about the s-pen I like, I can replicate easily enough. That being said, I kind of love having the stylus, just to use as a pointing device, and also mainly for one specific game that pretty much needs it.

This is the perfect upgrade if you have a Note 2. The screen, processor and ram will make it easy for them.

Sony Xperia Z3 and Z3 Compact coming soon

The Sony Xperia Z3 and Z3 Compact are listed as “coming soon” on Sony USA’s web site. I hear Verizon is getting the Xperia Z3. Looking forward to the Z3 Compact and hoping it’ll make its way to Verizon as well.

T-Mobile Moto X 2014 (2nd Gen) ‘Pure Edition’ Now Available

The T-Mobile Moto X 2014 Pure Edition is available for $499 from Motorola’s online store. Only the T-Mobile branded phones will have WiFi calling. So if it’s just an unlocked phone it won’t. I’m trying to figure that out too. T-Mobile said all devices it sells through it stores will have Wi-Fi calling. Motorola selling through Moto Maker probably won’t have it.

New Moto X 2014 Pre-orders begin on September 16th (Tuesday)

The new Moto X 2014 is a good phone at a good price as is but personally I hope that they make a “max” or “plus” version with a bigger battery, upgraded CPU, SD card support and an IR blaster.
