Judging by the looks of things, the new U.S. Cellular HTC Hero S isn’t really an upgrade of the original Hero, it just happens to share the same name. Which I use regularly, though some extra power and a larger screen would be nice, as gained in the Hero S.
The U.S. Cellular HTC Hero S cell phone will have a 4-inch qHD (960 x 540) display, a 1.2GHz Qualcomm MSM8655 CPU, a 5MP CMOS rear camera, 1.3MP front-facing camera, a 1,520mAh battery. The Hero S will be available for $199.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate.

The new U.S. Cellular Motorola Electrify (Sprint Photon 4G) is quite the powerhouse! So far, this phone’s performance is outstanding. The Photon is fast and responsive and the call quality is exceptional. Good battery performance considering the screen size and processor/radios. Glad to see the regional carriers finally get some nice high-end phones.

The new BlackBerry Torch 9850 cell phone to US Cellular on August 26th for $199.99. I think if you want to get a BlackBerry, you should choose Bold, it’s real Blackberry with very comfort keyboard. But if you want to get a Touch screen phone, don’t choose BlackBerry. any BB with touch screen was never satisfied. Each is a different choice and none are perfect, but I think they should be fairly scored and rated on their merits, and not necessarily in their differences to one another. I have no desire in Blackberry phones but i actually think it looks pretty attractive.

The LG Optimus Black is very iOS elements in style and i love all the colors, and it might come down to battery power for me. The phone itself looks pretty good, good screen size, brite display.
