LG G3 for T-Mobile with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage

Last modified on July 21st, 2014, Posted on July 21st, 2014

The T-Mobile LG G3 is now on sale for $0 down followed by 24 monthly payments of $24.95, the full retail price is $599. The screen is fantastic, the camera is fantastic, the feel and the layout of the phone is fantastic, the features and design of the phone itself are fantastic. The fact there’s a removable battery cover and battery is fantastic. One of the biggest downsides for me is that the battery life is nothing special, in fact I think it may be a step down from the G2 but a very small step.

Unlocked Nokia Lumia 1020 now on sale, supports AT&T and T-Mobile LTE

Last modified on July 21st, 2014, Posted on July 15th, 2014

This is great! Better late than never. I hope that Microsoft will continue selling unlocked flagships upon release. The unlocked Nokia Lumia 1020 windows phone is now on sale for $549.00 at Microsoft Store. That version doesn’t list the extra bands that T-Mobile uses. RM-877 – 3G: 850 / 900 /1900 / 2100. 3G radio would be problematic to get faster speed on HSPA+. It lacks 1700. If you’re not on 4G LTE coverage area you’ll fallback to 2G EDGE. I would NOT recommend this for T-Mobile USA users.

Huawei Ascend Mate2 – New Huawei Phones

Posted on June 13th, 2014

The Huawei Ascend Mate2 has a 6.1-inch 720p HD display. Considering it’s only $299 unlocked, with support for both AT&T and T-Mobile LTE, I’d say it has a nice shot. The Mate2 is much cheaper than Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3. But seems to have better specs: 13M back camera resolution vs 8M on Mega back camera; 5M front camera resolution on Mate2, while 1.9M on Mega.

Moto X now available with 64GB, Try Then Buy for $.01 to start

Posted on June 9th, 2014

While the Moto X may not win simply based on specs, it a very strong contender. (One thing you need to consider is memory, as they offer 16GB/$399.99, 32GB/$449.99 and 64GB/$499.99. That could be important for some because there’s no micro SD slot on this phone.)
