Nexus One cell phone supports AT&T’s 3G
The Google Nexus One cell phone is almost here from AT&T, the Nexus One will supports AT&T’s 3G. This is great news. Choice is a good thing. AT&T will finally have an android… a real smart phone.. with multi-tasking and customization unlike some other handsets. It is possible to support all bands, but antenna design is complicated especially when trying to get good performance on all supported bands. Usually the limiting factor are cost and size.
AT&T Google Nexus One Photos
The AT&T Google Nexus One will supports 3G on WCDMA Bands I, II, and V, I would like more smartphone options, like this, on AT&T. My iPhone 3GS is getting a bit boring, although I will probably be getting the iPad. If Google was truly interested in doing what was suggested in the post (namely, breaking Android free of the carriers), then they would have taken a slight loss on the device, and sold it, unlocked, for $199.99.

Man this seems like a great phone…any idea when this thing comes out. I am considering getting a new phone but I don’t know if I should hold off for one of the new droids coming out for AT&T or grab something like the Tilt2 or Expo…
