The Palm Pixi cell phone is much lighter and much thinner. I really like this phone, Sprints data is really fast. The Sprint Palm Pixi screams the design ethos of the Treo Pro – from the packaging to the charger, from the battery to the overall look, everything of the Pixi is simply a redeveloped Treo Pro. WebOS is far more user friendly and aesthetically pleasing than Android, SenseUI comes close, but still with no clear way to close out of apps, or see what is currently running, people aren’t going to understand why they’re new phone keeps slowing down.

The Palm Pixi cell phone features include an exposed full QWERTY keyboard, a 2.63 inch multi-touch screen with 320 x 400 pixels, a 2.0 megapixel camera, multi-touch screen and a durable, removable rubberized back cover, music player, dual speakers and 8GB of built-in memory, Qualcomm MSM7627 chipset, Accelerometer. I for one can’t wait to see how the Pixi does. I love when consumers have options and having another WebOS phone is a good thing for the market. That said, as a brand new Treo Pro owner, I think Palm really screwed up by not giving the Pixi WiFi.

  • I feel bad for palm. They REALLY have a nice OS but they have always FAILED in the hardware department. It’s really sad because if the pre would have been taken more seriously in terms of hardware design and didn’t sign an exclusivity agreement they would have had a better chance. I just hope they don’t go out of business.
  • WebOS lovers here. Don’t have to bash Android to make your product feel superior.WebOS is great without that. Android 2.0 is a great OS for mobile phones and 1.6 is a decent one. More importantly, Google will deliver at least couple of updates for Android each year. You can bet Android is going places. So, please keep the Android bashing to a minimum and be happy for the upcoming pixi.
  • Palm Pixi is great to have, but not a necessity. I really wish that Palm come out with a top notch phone all around. The software is there, we just need a bump in the package it comes in.
