The Samsung Galaxy Grand i9080 is a single SIM device, while the i9082 is a dual SIM one. If it didn’t have a 800 × 480 resolution it would be a good option for dual sim users. I wish they’d release some truly high end dual sim phones.
To be honest, this is pretty good for older people with bad eye-sight. they can’t really tell the difference in ppi or performance anyways. it’ll make it easier to see what’s on the screen compared to a similar-priced 4 inch phone, and that’s all they need to know. but it isn’t a move i’d make if i owned Samsung. specially using the galaxy branding. it’s diluting it.
Samsung Galaxy Grand i9080 and i9082 feature a 5-inch TFT LCD display with a WVGA resolution, 8MP rear camera with Flash and 1080p video recording, 2MP front-facing camera, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory, and MicroSD card support (up to 64GB), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, A-GPS with Glonass, Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS.
I like Samsung but they need to just keep it simple. One entry level variant, a mid level, the Galaxy S line, then the Note. Maybe some special or mid life cycles here and there but that’s it.
