Samsung Glyde Reviews – New Samsung Cell Phones
Samsung Glyde Reviews (New Samsung Cell Phones) :New Samsung Glyde Cell Phone is much smaller than its GSM counterpart. The UI is relatively easy to navigate through and it’s supposed to be a variation of the Croix UI found on most of the European models.

Samsung Glyde (New Samsung Cell Phones) : The 2-megapixel camera with AF is decent. Resolution goes as high as 1600×1200,but when it’s that high the zoom function is nixed. Cameras on phones generally suck and the Glyde fairs just above average. The flash does a decent job in low light, but you won’t be submitting anything for an award. More Reviews crunchgear.com

this phone looks great, i got the voyager and would almost switch in an instant.. i’m not feeling the lack of a dedicated dpad, but once i get a chance to play with it and if i like… might have to ebay the voyager

although the glyde looks pretty cool with its slide up keyboard, i have many friends who got it, and within their 30 days returned it because of so many complications. their screens were completely unresponsive to touch and so many other factors just made it not a good phone.
everyone says the voyager is amazing.

The new update for the Glyde fixes most of the touchscreen problems.

I have the first samsung glyde. and i got the update for it because it was having a lot of problems and it helped a lot. I like it much better now.
But what is that first picture? I’ve never seen the “samsuing glyde 2″
but it looks pretty interesting, and i like the layout of the keyboard better than the one I have now.
is the phone in the top picture available at Verizon?

I have a Samsung Glyde and I’ve had one for about a year now. I have literally gone through 15 different ones, and each one has either touchscreen problems, speaker problems, or application problems. I’m going back to Verizon today to see if I can update to the Glyde II since my phone cuts off everytime I send a text message. I really do not recommend this phone to anybody on account of the numerous problems I’ve had with it.

i have had seven of them in less then a year. the verizon sells people say that is their phone with the most problems. everysingle one i have had has shut it self off and many other things. apperently sofwaer problems. i do not reccommend this phone unless you have money to keep getting new phones.

I would never recommend the Samsung Glyde for anyone. It’s the worst phone I’ve ever had. Touch screen never really worked consistently. Verizon replaced the phone with another after they did boiler plate s/w update as per Samsung requirement, hoping to get you out the door. Helped a bit, then nonresponsive touch screen or phantom entries drove me nuts. Verizon never gave indication of scope of problems, never offered replacement options or otherwise. Latest response is phone is out of warranty, insufficient complaints deemed it a good phone, even with prior s/w and touchscreen issues. Now, the best part. . . for more money, they’d replace the phone. . . with another Glyde. Why would anyone subject themselves to that? Sorry, bud, no. . . not our problem we sell crappy products.

this phone is ridiculous, it lasted like 2 months and then it started being absolutely frustrating. The touchscreen is unresponsive and i have to type in what i want it to do, and even sometimes that doesn’t work, so, good luck, and dont waste your money
