The Samsung Rogue is amazing! The Verizon Samsung Rogue cell phone is easy to use, great display, I love the touch feature and the qwerty is awesome…Just got this phone and absolutely love it. it has some great features such as widgets, touch screen, and it doesn’t take forever to turn on and load like a smart phone. i love the idea of half touch half keyboard. I prefer the slide out keyboard as opposed to the flip on the Touch, so overall the Rogue is perfect for me.
I would say get this phone i like it alot and like the size. The touchscreen is really good. The browser is also good and is fast. Texting on the keyboard is easy. The Samsung Rogue has lots of features that will keep you entertained. Overall this is a very good phone that I would recommend to anybody.

Absolutely love this phone. The touch screen is very fast and responsive and it just looks great in your hand. Great messaging phone and love the threaded messaging feature. Battery life is good, camera takes really nice pictures

I can’t wate to get this phone!!!I heard that the videos are a little choppy but that doesn’t matter much to me. It looked like a cool phone when I saw it at Verizon!

Touch Screen isn’t as good for web as iphone, thus zooming in etc… but still nice, Very few apps but it’s a new phone, battery life isnt amazing but it’s a large bright screen so it’s ok….buy an extended and you r ok, other then that….nothing!!

I bought a rouge SCH-U960 from a friend. Not being real good about setting it up, I brought to the Verizon store; The first tech set it up for mobile e mails. It worked great for about 10 minutes. Got into the car and wanted to check an e mail. It wouldn’t work!! Went back in the Verizon store, and a different tech looked at it and checked it out again, and told me that the phone wouldn’t “connect” to receive a “upgrade” it needed to get the mobile e mail working. She also said you would have to ship it back to samsung to be repaired!!!!!For some reason it cannot be upgraded from a computer.
Did anybody else ever hear of stuff like this??
Or did they just want me to pay the 50.00 dollars to get a replacement phone???
This phone seems like a good phone…..but something thats brand new should be more reliable.

So i got this phone umm 3 days ago and i and findin that i have to keep a charger around bc it dies sooo fast i mean ya i kno that its a bif screen but damn half way threw the day i have to charge it bc its about it die!! umm ya im a lil un happy about that?? is the extended battery alot bigger to where i cant put a case on it?

If you go into the android market there is an app called TaskKiller. Whats happening with the phone is when you exit a app or your messaging. its still running and its draining your battery TaskKiller will stop all the stuff without erasing anything from your phone. i put it on mine and it works great. There are other apps you can get that probably work, but this one i know does. Hope this helps,

In my opinion, the Samsung Rouge SUCKS!!! I am a 13 year old boy and I text a lot. I got the rouge the first day it came out and loved it. bou a month later bou 5 times a day right when I recieve a text it freezes on me and I have 2 take out the battery a lot and it is very frustraing. Im already on my 3rd rouge and they all do the same thing. I really want a new one but im stuck with it til 2011!!

k, so i just got it today, and i think it is amazing, and my brother got one too, and i LOVE it, or i did, till’ i started to charge it, and the screen goes battery charging, and after a long time, i unplug it and itz frozen on the screen, i try to do everything, but nothing works! what should i do?

Had this phone for almost a year! Loved at first but difficultys began to occur!! UGH! You cant have a flashing picture as your backround but, The Picture quality is pretty good. My phone began to freeze [like where ever I was{messages, pictures, sounds} it wouldn’t move from that screen. I would have to remove the battery and reput it in. I got the upgrade at Verizon but the phone began to shuton and off after that randomly! I love the threaded message function and if you hold the picture screen just right the pictures will appear in a “slide-show” thing. My family consider me the “Rogue Guru”? I take pictures frequently on my phone so when the phone began to shut on and off it was very inconveinient. I love my Rogue but might have to go turn it in to Verizon to have a check up. :”(

Rouge is Straight up Dumb as Fuck. Shit Freezes at least 20 ties a day on me when i get texts or even open my phone. i tried returning this bitch and they gave me a new one nd the same problem occurs, im on my 4th rouge now and when i go back to the store they always tell me that they cant give me a different type of phone. so im stuck with this till nov. 2011. Basically if u have friends and text alot, dont buy the rouge.

Rogue sucks. Screen is unresponsive, interface is clunky, shuts off from time to time, mailing pictures? One at a time and repeat all steps for every photo! Camera is mediocre. Phone is a bit heavy – just terrible.

Stupid thing keeps shutting off when I’m not looking and I keep missing my messages and /or calls.. I send texts out and people dont get them because the stupid phone shuts down..

I luv my Samsung Rogue! It does everything I want it to do and more! The only thing I don’t like is when I’m listening to music on t the music will shut off when I get a text message. I don’t have a screen protector on mine yet & the smudges from my fingers bug me but other than that I have no complaints!

This phone is terrible! it freezes about 15 times a day. The screen will split in half and flip the image. It is very slow. I am on my 3rd rogue but verizon gives me the same phone everytime so i am stuck with it for a while. please dont get it if you dont not have patience. it is the worse phone i have ever had.

This is perhaps the worst phone I have EVER had. Since Verizon is too cheap to provide me with a new phone after my first one, the ENVY TOUCH, malfunctioned, they gave me a reconditioned Rogue, and it is by far the worst I’ve ever owned. It freezes on average 15 times daily, the screen becomes pixelated, and sometimes the picture on the screen splits in two. When I call people or receive calls, it takes about 10 seconds before the other party knows I’m talking to them after I’ve answered. This phone is absolutely horrible. Zero stars.

DON’T GET IT. IT IS SUCH A WASTE OF MONEY. VERIZON IS SUCH A RIP OFF. The only reason why I have Verizon as my carrier is because the place where I live doesn’t receive service from the other carriers. Please do not buy it. Get the envy 3 or something else like that.

I got this phone around Nov or Sept last year. The things i like about this phone is that the size is perfect! The keyboard is great! Taking pictures with this phone is nice. What I DONT LIKE about the rouge is the phone shuts off on me at random times (not an everyday thing but enough to notice that its no good). The screen blinks in the color of blue, yellow, pink, green, and red. (this happened to my first phone i had to replace it and the new one is less blinky but still it happens) I CANT DOWNLOAD ANYTHING OUTSIDE OF VERIZON! For example i found many good ring tones that were free from other websites and when i try to download it tells me i cant. WTH!! Oh and the BATTERY LIFE SUCKS!!! Other then that i keep having problems with my phone receiving internet access. -___- Would i recommend this phone to anyone? Heck no!

Like half the ranting customers on here, I’ve had this phone for almost a year, and despise it with a passion. It enjoys frequently shutting off at random, and likes to split the screen, which, unless your some kind of puzzle master, makes it very difficult to read and reply to text messages. I’ve only replaced it once, if that matters.. (They’re all the same.) It currently will not turn on, no matter what I do. It just flashes the damned “Verizon Wireless” logo, blanks, and repeats the same thing in the same dumb cycle. Over and over. I suggest this phone to anyone looking to have numerous hours of endless aggrevation over a small brick of uselessness. I am on wits end with this. Do not, by any means, purchase this. (Actually, I believe it was discontinued…) In any case, I’m about to toss this willingly out of a window under a vicious moving train, toodaloo.

The Samsung Rogue SUCKS big time. My phone freezes sometimes but not nearly as much as some of the other people here. Battery life isn’t the worst but it’s still bad. Colors are cool, but that’s about it. Internet browsing is torture, I feel like I’m surfing the “90′s” web. Email links do NOT work. Touchscreen is somewhat usable, at best. And, the thing I hate most, this POS Rogue refuses to sync to the computer. Sure I’ve called tech support, which is always a last resort, and they kept repeating the same steps over and over. iPhone blows this phone out of the water BIG TIME. I’m not too familiar with the DROID, but I’m sure I’ll have trouble syncing that as well. Verizon, you have successfully cheated me out of my money again. When will I learn?

this phone is a piece of shit, it turns off when i slide it to the qwerty keyboard. cant make calls cuz neither the ear piece speaker or the speaker phone works. and if i talk in it when im making a call the person on the other end cant hear me talking. just an all out SHITTTTY PHONE!

I can only make and answer calls using speaker phone, I think that people can hear me when I try to use the phone normally, but I can’t hear a thing. It’s not bad when I’m alone, but when I’m out or with other people, it’s really annoying. Were you able to get your problems fixed or did you get a different phone?
