AT&T Sony Ericsson Xperia Play almost here, with Android 2.3 Gingerbread
The Sony Ericsson Xperia Play Android coming to AT&T with HSPA+ connectivity, it looks really nice in blue. Plus Gingerbread and 4G. Being a gamer, gaming was a very important feature to me. I’m a retro gamer so the emulators work fantastic with the slide out game pad. I have several emulators and all of them work flawlessly with the controller.

The phone is slightly thick and heavy compared to other smart phones due to the inclusion of a slide out play station controller pad. The Xperia Play has everything you’d expect in a high end Android plus possibly the clearest/loudest stereo speakers I’ve ever heard from a phone. I highly recommend this phone to any gamer.
The Sony Ericsson Xperia Play cell phone has a 4 inch 854 x 480 touchscreen display, 1GHz Qualcomm processor, 5MP camera with 800 x 480 video recording, 512MB of RAM and Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. Now AT&T is saying that it will take months before it becomes available on their network.
