The BlackBerry Curve 3G cell phone is now available for Sprint online. This time rumor pans out. The device is a bar phone with a full QWERTY keyboard. It will cost $49.99 with a 2-yr contract after a $100 mail-in-rebate. The phone will debut in Sprint retail stores on October 10th.

The most prominent feature of the Curve 3G in that it uses BlackBerry 5 OS, but it will update for the latest BlackBerry 6 OS sometime in 2011. And now we are inching closer to 2011, right? Other features include a 2.5-inch display, 2MP camera with video capture, WiFi connectivity, GPS, 3.5mm headset jack, 512MB of Flash memory and comes with a 2GB microSD card.

Since we’ve known pricing, specs and the exact release date, how many of you would like to pulling the trigger on the Curve 3G 9330? Though this isn’t a high-end smartphone, it has the classic BlackBerry form factor. I’m sure it will appeal to BlackBerry fans who don’t want or need today’s most expensive devices.
