Sprint EVO Shift 4G? New HTC Knight cell phone
The new HTC Knight cell phone just looks like a smaller version of the EVO. Seriously though, a lot of people are still turned off by the Evo’s size … so this is good news. I prefer a 3.7 inch screen so I am not disappointed in this at all. Plus has a hardware keyboard and should get better battery life.
Rumor has it that it might be the 1ghz processor rather than the 800mhz. I see no sign of a QWERTY keyboard in the pics, but all rumors state that it will have a physical keyboard. Also features HTC’s Sense for Android, WiMAX, a 3.7-inch display, QWERTY slider keyboard and a LED flash.

If HTC/Sprint releases this crap ass phone as the next Evo, I will cancel my subscription and never buy a HTC phone again! The next evo HAS to be a 4.3 inch, has to have better battery life, a better screen, and everything has to be better than the first. If you say first is evo 4g, then you make first SMALLER? No way, the evo is the sickest, slickest phone out there. The edges are perfect, it doubles like a freakin mirror! LOL, try giving those to inmates who wanna peak around the corner and they’ll tell you they’re in love. PLEASE HTC, MAKE ANOTHER EVO, BUT BETTER! SAME DIMENSION, maybe slimmer, make the battery huge but slim so that it can handle the phones hardware. Geez, start working on better batteries. TRUST ME, I will not buy another EVO 4G, if it is not the same exact type of phone, groundbreaking, as its predesessor. NO QUERTY KEYBOARD. PLEASE DONT F IT UP!

Also thing you might find useful is that a y shaped stand might work better for standing it up and sitting it sideways. KEEP THE STAND!!

Overall a HUGE disappointment. A hardware keyboard is a good way to go but(comparing it to the epic 4g)the design looks like they havnt put much thought in it. The back color of the keyboard should be black. It makes no sense for the phone to be black and have a ugly shade of blue physical keybord. I agree with Guillermo Perez-Arguello(above) about the battery life needing to be increased.Most people dont wanna have to download an app to manage their use of the device to get through the day. A kickstand that can support the whole physical keybord should be included I think the consumers will find it very useful. Denise(above) a front facing camera is a absolute must. Having a 2nd version of a phone means there were definate improvements made. The size of the device(in my opinion) doesnt have to be 4.3in like the first evo it could be a bit smaller. Not to sound like a big epic 4g fan but the screen should be of same or greater quality. This phone is a failure with great potential. With more thought in design this device could be a definate iphone killer.
