Sprint HTC 7 Pro – New Sprint cell phones
The Sprint HTC 7 Pro cell phone is a retooled Touch Pro2, keyboard looks nice. Makes me miss my TP2. That keyboard and slider mechanism looks awesome! If Windows Phone 7 turns out to be as good as it looks, this thing will be a killer on Sprint! I was hoping it’d be released on all 4 carriers like the TP2 was.

The Sprint HTC 7 Pro cell phone will have a five-row QWERTY keyboard, a 3.6-inch display, 1 GHz processor, 5 megapixel camera with LED flash, Windows Phone 7 OS. It’s a Touch Pro 2 with a faster processor, new capacitive screen, more ram, more internal memory, different tilt mechanism, and a slightly redesigned keyboard that keeps all the good elements of the old one. It’s not going to come out until next year, even though WP7 really could use more QWERTY phones in its lineup now.
News Release:
The development of the HTC 7 Pro was inspired by power users who want to combine the ultimate in business efficiency with the ability to take full advantage of their leisure time. The sleek handset slides opens and tilts to reveal a full QWERTY keyboard for fast, comfortable typing, while productivity features such as the ability to sort, scan and manage Outlook email, open and edit the latest Office documents on the phone and keep track of the markets with HTC’s stocks application, offer new ways to maximize the business day.
