Sprint HTC Hero 2 cell phone (HTC Legend)
The Sprint HTC Hero 2 cell phone sounds good but since I already have one and I see no markedly different features, It’s also the first WiMax phone too, correct? Like Sprint’s first Hero, the Hero2 will have a modified design. I hope the Hero2 keeps it’s chin!

If you like the way this sexy little phone looks, forget about it from Sprint. They are redesigning it to resemble their Hero, a bastard version of the overseas Hero, ie: nothing special – butt ugly.
We can’t have cutting edge design in the US, we might get the vapors or something.

They are redesigning the hero 2 just like how they stupidly redesigned the first hero. Sprint is the WORST at picking and redesigning phones. Do I have to reming people about the motorola droid 2 vs the samsung moment. Not even a competition. LG rumor vs LG enV. Don’t expect much from Sprint EVER.

i love the hero all it is missing is a slide out key bored or it need to be a bigger screen the i phone is a nice size screen if it was that big it would be awsome

I love the hero and sprint!!!!! They are the best. At&t is way top much so is verizon. and i get better service than those 2 phones. So to say they arent good is an understatement. The over seas phones aer better that just about all the phones out there. But we arent over there so that does nothing for us. This phone looks nice and i want it. I wish we had a key pad but this will do fine. Dose anyone know when this phone is going to be a available?

Can’t wait for the Hero2/Legend to come out. I personnaly don’t like the over the top size of the HTC Evo. I want a phone not an IPad.

This doesn’t seem very impressive. All the newer phones are coming out with a 1Ghz processor and this is only half of that. Beyond that it’s pretty much the same as the current hero.
Also if you want this phone just for the newest version of Android stick with Fresh Rom by Flipz. His rom is way better than Sense UI.
Oh and the release date is unknown at this time. Chances are Sprint will say Q2 of next year but it will be pushed back a couple Qs.

I heard from an HTC rep the other day the hero 2 is expected to be out in November or December.
Maybe it will be a Christmas release. Just thought I’d share that with you.

I’m so getting this phone..cant wait for the release I want it at soon as it hits the sprint website. Sprint has great service I already had Verizon, AT&T and even T-Mobile…They all suck so people stop downing sprint

Any feedback on this phone, my plan is up in 2 months and I am looking at a new smartphone but I dont want to carry a phonebook around which is the size of most of there new phones..

I’m highly interested in this phone. Has anyone here used an HTC aria from at&t? I played around with one the other day and was very impressed with the speed. The rep there at att actually misinformed me and told me it had a 1ghz processor – I was skeptical but due to the phone’s response one could believe it. Later I looked up the specs online and saw that it was a 600mhz processor; regardless, the phone is fast. I expect his phone to be the same. Looking forward to a release date..
