The T-Mobile will get the LG Optimus 2X, a.k.a T-Mobile G2x cell phone,  I am thrilled. This phone will be a big seller for T-Mobile. They call it G2x because it will run Vanilla Android not the LG UI and the G lines runs on vanilla so I think it will have the Vanilla UI just like what they did on the G2 and desire Z. I hope this phone has a front facing camera and be HSPA+ capable. If the rumors of vanilla Android have any validity, that may fix a lot of the European version’s issues, but the Pyramid is still a complete unknown. Finally, confirmation on the LG Optimus 2x!

The LG Optimus 2X cell phone has a dual-core Tegra 2 processor,  a 4.0-inch 480 x 800 capacitive touchscreen display, an 8-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, a front-facing 1.3-megapixel camera, A-GPS, WiFi, HDMI mirroring, an 8GB of internal memory, a microSD crad slot up to 32GB and Android 2.2 Froyo OS.

"Vanilla Android" is simply an install of Android without any customizations. HTC for example, will put Sense on their phones. Motorola might put Blur on some of theirs. Vanilla is what is straight from Google and has none of those customized interfaces or apps that the carriers put on the phone. The Nexus One is one of the few phones that runs a "Vanilla" install of Android.
