The new T-Mobile G2x cell phone is now on sale for $199.99 with 2 year contract. Full retail price is just $499. That’s cheaper than the Nexus One/S. Most people will go for the contract not because its cheap but because either they don’t have $499 to spend on a phone or are not willing to pay that much at a go. The phone is great, Dual core has arrived, it has an HDMI port at the top of the phone. So enticing.

The G2X is a slick phone. It looks like speed is its killer on this phone, I mean there is 4G and the dual-core processor so that will make downloading music and streaming so much better, and I am a huge streaming fan. As soon as I get one, the first app that I am going to download will be the DISH Remote Access app. This app lets me stream live TV and recorded shows on my phone anywhere I want. As a customer and employee of DISH Network, I have been using the app for a long time and I can say it is awesome on my current phone, so it should be even better on a faster phone!
