T-Mobile Sidekick 4G cell phone reviews
The new T-Mobile Sidekick 4G cell phone’s huge keyboard is awesome for people like me with large thumbs. The 5-row keyboard does look nice. I like the looks of this phone! It will be a great phone now that it’s on Android. Now you get apps, a full browser plus the phone layout teens used to love. Keep in mind that this was once a featurephone, now smartphone.
The T-Mobile Sidekick 4G cell phone has a 3.5 inch WVGA display, a five-row QWERTY keyboard, a 1GHz Hummingbird processor, 3 megapixel camera, a VGA front-facing camera and Google Android 2.2 (Froyo). It only has a 3mp camera? Seeing how this is a teen-based phone, the specs sound about right. No one should be comparing this to an adult phone.

I definitely agree that this phone should not be compared to higher-end smartphones. I got a Sidekick 4G a few days ago and it is one of the best phones I have ever used! Samsung did a great job keeping the look and feel of the original Sidekick, but did away with the old, problematic OS and used Android. I definitely love that I can choose from thousands of apps, one major app being the DISH Remote Access app. This app lets me stream live TV and recorded shows from my 922 SlingLoaded receiver to my Sidekick anywhere I am! As a customer and employee of DISH Network, I have been using the app for a long time on my previous phone, the MyTouch, and it was great! I love being able to watch TV anywhere I want! I encourage anyone and everyone to take a look at dish.com/tveverywhere to get all the information on taking your channels with you wherever you go!
