HTC Desire series are actually pretty good specially 816 model but the question is do they get software updates and Are the current desire devices going to get Android L. I’m actually interested to see how this turns out. I would love to see a new Snapdragon 615 processor. If they aim a little higher than the current Desire, they could have a fantastic mid range device.
The ZTE Nubia 5S Mini LTE costs $280 (unlocked), ships starting August 27. Seems to be aimed just above Moto G: same processor, similar display, similar battery, more RAM, better cameras. $280.00 isnt too bad actually. It looks like a decent phone. I’d have to play around with the OS before i decide to give it a go or not.
The source of this leak is anonymous. the new Motorola XT1254 (Verizon Droid Turbo) has managed to show up in the Bluetooth SIG and CPU-Z database, specs include:
– Snapdragon 805 clocked at 2.65GHz
-3GB RAM, 32GB of storage
-1440 x 2560 resolution with a 360 x 640 DPI
-20MP rear camera, 2MP front camera
The new Meizu MX4 looks nice, beautifully thin side bezels. It looks more like a Galaxy Note but still can be distinguishable. The top and bottom bezels are still big. It’s body is far to big and its width is also fatter than the iphone. The Home button doesn’t even look like an iPhone button even though it’s rounded.
The LG Realm is available beginning today for $80 from Boost Mobile. Biggest disadvantage is no expandable storage. The screen is beautiful and large. I recommend this phone to anyone that wants a mid-range smartphone.
The new NVIDIA SHIELD tablet looks good, especially the 32GB/LTE version. I’m looking for a new and smaller tablet. This sounds like it would be perfect for me. Good specs, strong SoC, front facing speakers, etc. Just a nice little 8″ tablet at a competitive price.
