Just pre-ordered mine from Best Buy. The free case was enough for me but Best Buy is also giving away $50 gift cards for phone purchases through them at the moment. That is about $80 in promotions on a $299 upgrade for me. I’m glad I waited and didn’t spend $700 to get the international version. Feb. 19th is the expected release date for this phone.
AT&T Samsung GALAXY Note have the best specs in the smartphone market at the moment! A 5.3-inch 1280×800 HD Super AMOLED display, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 8-megapixel shooter on back, 2-megapixel camera around front, 1080p video capture, 1 GB RAM, the highly advanced input tool called S-Pen, a 2,500mAh battery, 4G LTE connectivity and Android Gingerbread OS update to Ice Cream Sandwich.

I think this might actually be a success, The new Nokia Lumia 900 just looks so damn cool. I don’t think people care much about what os it uses, as long as it works well and looks cool. Plus people expect good reception and a good camera from Nokia. There are lot of great review around Windows Phone.. I try it myself and it’s a great OS. Nokia Lumia 800 and 900 looks promising as well..

While the Samsung Galaxy Note is an impressive device, I don’t think it’s worth $300 on contract, especially with AT&T as the carrier. The Note uses the Exynos chipset, AT&T’s will use SnapDragon. Not only is Exynos the more powerful chipset, it is also more efficient than SnapDragon, which means that the International Note gets more processing power and better battery life in comparison to AT&T’s.
The Galaxy Note international version does not have an LTE radio, it only has a singular 3G radio which will work with AT&Ts 3G and HSPA. ATT’s Note is going to have two radios, one for 3G and another for LTE.

Bigger screen, bigger battery, LTE radio, the AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note also features a 5.3-inch 1280×800 HD Super AMOLED display, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 8-megapixel shooter on back, 2-megapixel camera around front, 1080p video capture, 1 GB RAM, the highly advanced input tool called S-Pen, a 2,500mAh battery, 4G LTE connectivity and Android Gingerbread OS update to Ice Cream Sandwich.
· Previously announced at AT&T’s Developer Summit leading up to the International Consumer Electronics Show earlier this month, the Samsung Galaxy Note™ arrives in carbon blue and ceramic white at AT&T* stores beginning Feb. 19 for $299.99 with a two-year agreement.
· Customers excited to get their hands on this dream device even earlier can pre-order at http://www.att.com/galaxynote or any AT&T company-owned retail store beginning Sunday, Feb. 5 for delivery by Feb. 17.

Wow, now that is one really cool looking device. Seriously. I have a hunch this $99 price might be a launch-only promotion. Makes sense to me if AT&T is going to lose its exclusivity after a month and a half. After that they’ll probably bump the price back up to the normal price on contract.

An oversized phone that wanted to be a tablet that can’t fit in your pocket. How do you carry it around. It sure won’t fit in your pocket. What a great product Samsung. I can’t wait to get this awesome smartphone! Oh and will the Apple fan boys please stop going after every phone that’s not an iPhone. I am not a fan of the iPhone but I don’t go out of my way to bash it everyday. Give the Samsung credit for coming up with a new and innovative product like the Galaxy Note. The Samsung Galaxy Note will be luanch on February 18th for $299.99.
