New Cell Phones

The new T-Mobile Samsung Behold 2 Android phone has a 3D “cube menu” for rotating among common features like web browsing and YouTube access. This seems like a prime example of a UI being changed for the sake of being changed. I can’t imagine how the cube structure will be more efficient than traditional UI’s. Big points for a new idea. Loses points for having a less than effective UI. Of course, this is based on just the screen shot. Maybe it will be much better than what I am envisioning.

The Samsung Behold 2 T939 Android phone looks cool! Finally T-Mobile is adding some really cool touchscreen phones. I’m excited for Android that there are so many new devices coming out. New Samsung Cell Phones – Samsung Behold 2 is equipped with Samsung’s innovative TouchWiz user interface,allowing easy customization with widgets located in a slide out tray on the left side of the home screen and  providing one-touch access to a customer’s favorite and most commonly used features and applications.
