The new Verizon BlackBerry Curve 9370 is a sweet phone for medium users, able to roam GSM networks internationally. The email on it is unmatched. I hope the battery life is better. The battery on my 9330 is atrocious. Don’t even get 24 hours out of it with no use. My previous Curve 8330 would last near a week in the same conditions. Major disappointment.

Verizon Galaxy Nexus LTE Android 4.0 ICS phone now on Sale

This is a totally sexy phone, the new Verizon Galaxy Nexus looks like a solid smartphone with some great features. Though smartphone prices and plans are still way too overpriced for me to justify owning one. Even the thicker LTE version feels very thin in the hand. The form factor is perfect, very comfortable to hold.

The form factor is perfect. Felt much smaller than my Infuse in hand, yet the screen was 4.65 inches vs my Infuse‘s 4.5. The soft touch back is perfect. For starters, I like 4.0′s big "clean" dial pad. And it’s also easy to dial from any of my contacts, as they culled from all sources (personal Gmail, company email via Exchange, Facebook, G+). "Typical" LTE battery life i.e. widely variable depending on usage, AT BEST a whole day on one charge. Overall this is one amazing device none-the-less.

Samsung Galaxy Nexus at Bell Price $159.95

The new Samsung Galaxy Nexus is now on sale for $159.95 at Bell, Bought it outright $650 with no contract so I can use on Bell. I’m moving to Canada. Better phones, better prices…Bell and Telus share both their UMTS and CDMA networks though I’m not sure what they’ll do with the LTE rollout.

The new Verizon LG Extravert is a solid phone. it survives the everyday wear and tear. I wanted something that had a qwerty keyboard that was not on the front of the phone, and this fit the bill. The qwerty keyboard is easy to use and I don’t find the buttons are too small. This is a great phone if you are someone who doesn’t want a data plan.

Samsung Captivate Glide Android phone on Sale price $149.99 from AT&T

The new AT&T Samsung Captivate Glide cell phone is now on sale for $149.99 with a two-year contract. Looking at the layout of that keyboard, I like. I’ve been waiting for a slide out keyboard tegra 2 phone for the mother-figure to replace her epic 4g and this looked great, right up until I saw the AT&T logo on it.

I would seriously consider the Captivate Glide, if I didn’t know that the Droid 4 was just around the corner. I’ll probably still take a trip to the AT&T store to check out the Glide. But the combination of LTE, a five-row keyboard, a dual core 1.2 GHz OMAP 4, and grandfathered unlimited data on Verizon has me strongly leaning toward the Verizon Droid 4.

The MetroPCS HTC Wildfire S is now on sale for $179 without contract. I think this phone is very easy to use and i love the apps. Not to big and not too small. If you are a heavy phone/app user, perhaps this phone is not for you, as the processor is a bit slow for labor-intensive apps, like gaming for example. The internal memory is not large either.

AT&T HTC Titan Windows phone now on Sale price $549.99 no contract

The new AT&T HTC Titan Windows phone is now on sale for $199.99 on contract, $549.99 without contract. AT&T is apparently having a sale on the Saturday after Thanksgiving where all WP7 phones will be a penny with a two year contract (online only). The Titan is supposed to be part of this sale as well. Definately worth waiting a week to save $200.

So I went into an AT&T store today to try and compare the Titan to the Focus S, it does require a bit of contortion to use one-handed so trying before buying is important, but it feels so solid (and is actually quite thin) that the size isn’t as bad as you might think. I didn’t quite "get" WP7 until I used it but it is a joy to use in practice.

The new Sprint Express looks like a device to wean Blackberry users off of Blackberry and on to an Android device. I don’t know what it is, but that phone has a really interesting almost pleasing look to it. I still think I don’t want a physical keyboard, but I like the look of this one a lot for some reason.
