The Verizon HTC Droid Incredible 2 is a global phone. New feature – 1.5 MP front camera, 768 RAM and 4.0 display, its a phone with better spec. 768MB of memory too is quite an improvement considering how much memory Apps use. It actually is an improvement. It’s a second-gen Snapdragon, which performs better and has better battery life than first-gen. 800 MHz 2nd gen Snapdragon > 1 GHz 1st gen Snapdragon. So excited to see this phone finally being released!

By the end of August the Droid and Droid X cell phone will have Froyo. Now that the official 2.2 source code is out I’m eagerly awaiting the first custom ROMs built off that, but really couldn’t care less when OTA Froyo is released to everyone. I think the Droid X should be released with 2.2. Either way my Droid is waiting for 2.2. Motorola Droid to get Android 2.2 in July, Droid X in August.
Android OS Upgrade Details
Droid X customers will receive Android 2.2 and Adobe Flash Player 10.1 in the latter half of the summer with an over-the-air update. (Currently planned for late August)
Current Droid by Motorola customers will receive the updates this summer as well! (Currently planned for late July)

The new Motorola Droid XTreme cell phone is a really great phone, the design of that phone had so much potential. The Droid XTreme has an 8 megapixel cam, HD video capture, and dual LED flashBetter build quality, MUCH better reception and sound quality, bigger and better screen, better processor/GPU combination, better battery life, better camera…I’m actually really like it. Does anyone know if it has a physical keyboard or only virtual? a front facing camera?

The new Verizon Motorola Droid Shadow cell phone looks too huge, this could really be a great phone if they improved the slide-out keyboard. It also looks like they got rid of the dreadful capacitive-touch buttons on the front face for physical buttons… nice!

The Verizon Droid Incredible cell phone by HTC is a great device. I’ve only been waiting for the Incredible because I didn’t want the Droid’s slide out keyboard. One major winning point for the Verizon Device is the screen tech, the Droid Incredible has OLED screen where as the EVO 4G has the TFT. The HTC Droid Incredible and the Sprint EVO are not alike. The EVO is similar to the HD2 without WinMo. We’ve also heard the HTC DROID Incredible will launch on Verizon Wireless on April 29th for $199. It’s a really nice phone!
