Look again! It says April 29th and it’s been renamed to Verizon Droid Incredible by HTC. Can’t wait to get one. This is no doubt the best phone I have ever seen come out on big red. After months of waiting, doing countless google searches, studying the leaked information over and over, we finally have something concrete actually from VZW. I am anticipating this phone so much.

Can’t wait for the Motorola Droid users to share in the goodness that is 2.1! I’ve been waiting for 2.1! Someone leaked the Eris 2.1 update just a few hours ago on XDA. everything on it works, camera, video, sensors! USA will get the 2.1 upgrade. Yes, that’s right folks, this includes the first Android device, the notorious G1 also.

The Verizon Droid cell phone is now on sale for $199.99 with a new 2-year contract. I had gone to Best Buy and preordered a Motorola Droid there (by buying a $50 gift card), but the phone would have been $199 for me there. Verizon online cut the price of the phone in half for me! Why not go to a near by Best Buy, and ask to see the Demo phone for the Droid. Then you can see for yourself if it is worth getting.

The Motorola Droid cell phone pre-order $199 deal at Best-Buy is with a 2-year contract as well right. The Android OS on it may be the best thing on the planet. Wait what it is that is so important about this phone. Too much excitement. You come in and purchase a $50 gift card and reserve your Droid. So if you use that gift card to purchase the Droid it will drop your balance to $149.99. No, Best Buy Mobile does not add anything extra to your contract. It is just like going to a corporate store when upgrading or whatever.

The Verizon Motorola Droid cell phone will be available on November 6th for $199.99 with a 2-yr contract agreement and after a $100 rebate. New Verizon Phones – Motorola DROID does look nice. I’m glad to see Motorola fighting back. The keys look very flat though, Google GPS is free, uses voice commands that seem quite good. The Verizon Droid will have a car doc available. Android 2.0 looks like a nice step forward and for that reason alone it exciting, but this phone is just seriously ugly. Anyone know if this phone will require a data plan? Yes, this phone will only require the $30 plan. I was mad they delayed the release but now I am excited again!
