Samsung Galaxy Nexus now on Sale in UK

Posted on November 17th, 2011

It’s funny that a store called Phones4U got the exclusive first launch. Samsung Galaxy Nexus will be available "pretty much everywhere" from Monday, November 21st. Can I assume “pretty much everywhere” includes the U.S.? Great job Google not releasing your flagship ICS device here in the US first. Even if you release it, there won’t be a GSM device anytime soon given your track record with the Nexus devices. I hoped to see a good picture for the new android flagship!

Verizon Samsung Galaxy Nexus Videos, Photos and Specifications

Posted on November 17th, 2011

The new Verizon Samsung Galaxy Nexus has such a high class look to it. Can’t wait. The camera seems to take really good photos too for a phone. The screen looks great and the processor is also great. It’s design is far sleeker than anything out there right now, which Samsung has a history of making great looking and durable phones.

After Google out the tech specs on the LTE version of the Samsung GALAXY Nexus, it came as no surprise that the inclusion of the LTE radio brought a little extra heft to Verizon’s variant of the phone; sure, at 9.47mm we are not suggesting Jenny Craig, but the GSM model is a more svelte 8.97mm thin…

Pros:
- Multitasking is better
- More freedom on the web browser/flash
- Custom roms to come
- Overclocking
- Bigger screen

This phone is so maddening. I really want it. Or maybe I really want to want it.

Samsung Galaxy Nexus – New Samsung cell phones

Last modified on October 19th, 2011, Posted on October 18th, 2011

The new Samsung Galaxy Nexus is pretty much just a Galaxy S II with a slightly bigger screen, but I have to say the 720p video display is rather impressive. Don’t be fooled by the 4.65″ dimension. It’s basically a 4.3″ phone with the extra 0.35″ for screen real-estate for the software buttons. I wouldn’t be too worried about the size. The biggest selling point to me right now is the updates, hardware accel and 720p screen. The Galaxy SII is nice, but I much prefer stock Android for Galaxy Nexus. Google is the one designed it and the unique aspect of the design will most likely be the curve, the 0 buttons, and the thinness.
The Samsung Galaxy Nexus cell phone features include a 4.65-inch 1280×800 Super AMOLED HD display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 5-megapixel camera with 1080p HD video capture and LED flash, 1GB RAM, 32GB of built-in storage and Google Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS.

The new Samsung Galaxy Nexus cell phone looks good, hopefully ICS will have some awesome power/battery management, because 1750mAh just doesn’t seem like much for all the hardware “predicted” or keeping that big ol screen aglow. This phone and the Droid RAZR are the best phones ever!

Google Nexus Prime with Android Ice Cream Sandwich launch on October 18th, 2011

Last modified on October 14th, 2011, Posted on October 14th, 2011

The new Google Nexus Prime looks very beatiful, I like the design of its appearance, I think  the arc-shaped appearance is full of creative idea. I highly doubt the Prime will make it to all carriers. I think it should be going to all carriers but looking at past Nexus, it seems like its going to stay an exclusive to one carrier and months later be released to another and then another.

It has passed the FCC with AT&T radios.  It may be exclusive to Verizon for a month.  Their version passed the FCC a month before AT&T’s.  Just a hunch.  Doesn’t matter.  Christmas, Hanukkah or whatever you celebrate will still be delightful.

Samsung Nexus Prime GSM phone for AT&T and T-Mobile

Posted on October 9th, 2011

The new Samsung Nexus Prime GSM phone has AT&T and T-Mobile 3G bands. 850/1900 = AT&T and AWS = T-Mobile HSPA+ 4G. (AWS is usually not shown as 1700 and 2100). This will be truly be the GSM phone worth waiting for if you want maximum flexibility. I hope they’ll released that at the same time or shortly after the Verizon version. It would be very wise of Google to launch one device to all carriers for once.
