The HTC Hero cell phone is coming to Sprint sometime around November 2009, from Annonymous commented: “I have confirmed this with an HTC representative that interviewed me for feedback on the recent release of the HTC Snap. It was roughly a 30 minute phone interview which at the end the HTC Hero was discussed and he asked me if people had been calling or asking the store about it. The release was not given an exact date but I was told sometime around november. Sprint users can rejoice.” but HTC needs to make a CDMA version of it first.

The HTC Hero cell phone looks gorgeous! I don’t mind android or winmo . The HTC Hero up for pre-order on Amazon UK: £429, you probably won’t pay more than 700$. In my experience things like this tend to be 10-15% more expensive in Europe, means the Hero’ll be around in US soon, but if its not coming then , i’ll just import it, haha :)

The new HTC Hero Android phone looks great, i’m very impress with the UI. I think this could be the best smartphone out. New HTC Phones – HTC Hero has new GUI overlay and it is coated in Teflon, cool, i admire the Teflon coating though..so does that mean this phone is almost scratch proof and heat resistant as well? I didnt know teflon could be coated onto plastic. it looks like HTC is spending a lot of time building easy to use applications that blend into Android. The inclusion of a 3.5mm audio port should have happened on all of their devices long ago. Capacitive touch is definitely the way to go and with some more hardware out build for android HTC may sway the dominate os to something that is touch friendly.

The HTC Hero cell phone looks pretty cool and very similar to the HTC Magic in terms of the form factor and possibly slightly slimmer. New HTC Phones – HTC Hero remove the trackball. The android cell phones are designed nicely actually. Stepping away from basic designs and instead of integrating “nifty” gadget and buttons on each phone they try to do it focuses the user upon what makes it unique, the OS itself. This handset looks like an hero….
