Kyocera Rise Press Release:

Kyocera Rise cell phone for Sprint and Virgin

Posted on August 15th, 2012

The Kyocera Rise is a solid looking phone for parents with kids who have slippery hands. As a entry level device Sprint has picked up a good device.

That phone became cheap which is different from already being cheap. On Virgin Mobile I could see this easily being there best selling phone. It has a keyboard and running ICS. It simple looking and not overwhelming to consumers who going to prepaid. Selling points on Sprint are the same except it catches the eye of those who just entering smartphone world. We all have to understand not everybody has a smartphone. So simple is easy seller.

Sprint Kyocera Rise – New Sprint Android phones

The new Kyocera Rise coming to Sprint, on the good side it seems it use stock android which its nice and no bloated…3.5-inch, 480 x 320, 1 GHz ? For a moment there, I started wondering if going for One X as a replacement for my  Desire Z was such a good idea, as I love QWERTY sliders, but now I’m calm again.

Seriously, I don’t understand why manufacturers don’t make high end phones with physical QWERTY keyboards. I would gladly sacrifice thinness for more accurate messaging. If Sprint commissioned Samsung or if Samsung build a 4.5″ quad core, 1GB RAM, 2GB ROM Epic LTE I would walk out of work right now and buy it.

The Sprint Kyocera Echo is now on sale for $199.99, this phone looks super sweet. Actually an interesting phone. It’s good to have some innovation. This will have some good We don’t need another standard android phone anyways. Personally, I could see a huge advantage if I were able to use slingplayer Mobile or video player on the top screen and answer texts and emails on the bottom screen. It does have some pretty awesome and unique features that I will be jealous of.

The Sprint Kyocera Echo cell phone looks good, I’m sure many people especially gamers will like it. I like the concept of the dual screens. It’s an Android phone with a major convenience innovation. If it actually has good voice quality both ways and the display doesn’t get washed away by sunlight, I’ll be in line for one. I am optimistic that there are some developed apps out there that would function really well with the dual screens, like the you tube app already shown. Perhaps it would just take a tweak to improve a number of existing apps for this phone, like making the lower screen a big keyboard to control a game, instead of tiny tiny buttons on the bottom of the screen.

Sprint Kyocera Echo cell phone reviews

The Sprint Kyocera Echo cell phone is an interesting concept. I think it looks pretty sweet! The Kyocera Echo may not be the most powerhouse hardware but what is wrong with playing with new form factors? I think having two screens on phones could be pretty awesome, I mean, everyone was excited about the Courier and it wasn’t too different really. I really like the idea of dual screen. Really brings to and Google maps to find a good restaurant.
